Restrictions

  • United Arab of Emirates is our country of domicile and stipulate that the governing law is the local law. All disputes arising in connection therewith shall be heard only by a court of competent jurisdiction in U.A.E.
  • "Gift It FZ LLC" maintains the http://www.giftit.me/ Website and will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC and sanctioned countries
  • Customer using the website who are Minor /under the age of 18 shall not register as a User of the website and shall not transact on or use the website
  • Cardholders must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules

General

The Platform is an event management and online gifting platform, and is not a broker, a bank or other financial institution.

GIFTIT vouchers are only redeemable through our available products, vouchers & cards on GIFTIT online store.

GIFTIT Voucher can't be refunded nor cancelled.

GIFTIT Voucher expires in six months from date of issuance

For Group gifting collected contributions will apply for 60 days grace period from occasion creation date to be redeemed either through GIFTIT vouchers or any available product on GIFTIT online store. After the grace period of 60 days the collected amount per occasion will automatically be redeemed through GIFTIT voucher under the occasion creator account and will apply to GIFTIT voucher expiry date of six moths and can't be refunded.

Guests and Gift Givers are not required to become registered members of the website, but must agree to the Agreement as a condition of using certain of the functions of the Service (like making a monetary gift to an Occasion using the Service), and if they become registered members of the Service can use many useful features of the Service that are not available to people who do not register.

While our Services facilitate communications and gift transactions between Hosts and other Users, GIFTIT is not a party to any agreement or other relationship between a Host and a Guest or Contributor.

GIFTIT is under no obligation to accept any individual as an Occasion Creator/Host, Guest or Contributor and may accept or reject any registration in its sole and complete discretion. In addition, GIFTIT may deactivate any account at any time, including, without limitation, if it determines that a Host, Guest, or Visitor has violated the Agreement, and for any reason, or for no reason.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change or modify all or any portion of the Agreement at any time. If we do so, we will post a notice of the change or modification on the Platform, but we are not required to give you any other notice, and your continued use of the Platform or Service after such time will constitute your acceptance of such changes or modifications.

The funds transfer to the beneficiary account will take 2-5 working days.

Payments

  • All prices quoted on our website are quoted in United Arab of Emirates Dirhams (AED) and inclusive of VAT.
  • Valid Visa and MasterCard Credit and Debit Cards are accepted and processed through our secure e-payment gateway provider, Telr. GIFTIT website does not record or store cardholder account data and information.
  • Cardholder account data and information is maintained by our secure third-party gateway, Telr.
  • Payment processing services for users on GIFTIT are provided by Telr are subject to the Telr terms and conditions.
  • Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Telr Terms of Service. By agreeing to these terms or continuing to operate as a registered user on GIFTIT, you agree to be bound by the Telr Services Agreement, as the same may be modified by Telr from time to time.
  • As a condition of GIFTIT enabling payment processing services through Telr, you agree to provide GIFTIT accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize GIFTIT to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Telr.
  • Once payment is successful the contributor has given the full authority to the occasion creator of the total amount contributed to manage and redeem.
  • Once the payment is made by the gift givers, the confirmation notice will be sent to the occasion creator via email within 24 hours of receipt of payment.

GIFTING OPTIONS

For Group Gifting: The collected gifted amount to be redeemed in either through GIFTIT voucher to grant the freedom of choice to the recipient or through any available product on GIFTIT online store.

For Individual Gifting: Either GIFTIT voucher to grant the freedom of choice to the recipient or through any available product on GIFTIT online store.

You may redeem your GIFTIT vouchers at any time and through any of the available options on GIFTIT Online store.

ORDER PROCESSING

  • Gift Occasion orders on our website will be processed and published at the time of setup. A correct First Name, UAE mobile number and Email Address are required for a Gift Occasion order to be processed.
  • Contributions made on our website will be processed at the time of payment approvals by our third part, Telr.

REFUNDS POLICY

  • Collective gifting contributors: Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode ofPayment. Please allow for up to 45days for the refund transfer to be completed.
  • GIFTIT Voucher: No return nor refund once the redemption method and amount are selected and confirmed through the website

CANCELLATION POLICY

For occasion cancellation, please send an email to infor@giftit.me and GIFTIT team will cancel the link to stop any further contributions. In case any received contributions prior the cancellation.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • GIFTIT will not be liable for any damages, either direct or indirect, as a result of the third-party product or service you purchase or employ using the funds you have received through your Gift Occasion collective. This includes (but is not limited to) any service outages, delays in delivery, breaches of security, viruses, accuracy of information provided including (but not limited to) descriptions, dimensions, photos and prices.
  • The occasion creator has the sole responsibility and freedom of the collected amount redemption and to whom the GIFTIT voucher is sent, with no liability on GIFTIT
  • For group gifting option, all contributions conducted is based on mutual agreement between the occasion creator and the contributors with no liability on GIFTIT
  • The gift giver has the full liability to provide the right details of the recipient and any failure or loses occurred due to incorrect details will be the sole responsibility of the gift giver with no liability on GIFTIT.
  • All Gift Givers/Contributors processing payments to specific occasion are giving the full authority to this Occasion Creator/Host to use, manage & redeem the collected money with no liability on GIFTIT

YOUR USE OF OUR WEBSITE

  • GIFTIT website content and design is copyright. Please do not reproduce or copy any part of the website.
  • You must not use the website in a harmful, abusive, offensive or threatening manner.

Website Users:

  • GIFTIT: The portal where family members and friends can gift each other and send sentimental gifts from GIFTIT online store
  • Telr: The payment gateway platform to process all online payments and contributions
  • The Recipient: The celebrant and the end recipient of the gift/sentimental gift either sent individually or through group gifting
  • Contributor: The participants in group gifting of certain occasion owned by the occasion creator
  • Occasion Creator: The sender and the occasion owner for both individual and group gifting

GIFTIT Online Store

  • Your order will be confirmed after placing order and receipt of payment. The gift will instantly be electronically sent to the recipient details as provided by the gift giver. The gift recipient to identify the date, time and location to deliver the gifts.
  • For refund and orders cancellation less the agreed cancellation charges which are applied by each supplier & any applied costs. These charges will be shown at the time of payment and confirmation. No refund or cancellation to customised gifts.
  • All refunds of any transaction amount will be made to the original form of payment. The contents of each gift are subject to availability. GIFTIT reserves the right to substitute any items where appropriate and guarantee that all replacements are of equal or greater value.
  • Delivery information such as Customer Name, Location, Address and Contact Number will be stored for delivery purposes. Other personal identifiable information will not be stored.
  • Delivery will take place within 24hours or more based on the gift selected, recipient selected date, third party provider guidelines (identified under gift description) and the time required for customised gifts (to be confirmed by GIFTIT team).
  • Gifts purchased with GIFTIT Voucherwill automatically be adjusted to any balance either remainder or missing amounts
  • All Gifts prices inclusive of UAE VAT and entitled fordelivery fees based on the vendor guidelines.

Declaration

Please contact the team at GIFTIT at info@giftit.com if you have any questions in relation to the above Terms and Conditions, or if you require customer service in relation to any GIFTIT product or service. Otherwise unless the customer has another valid written agreement with GIFTIT, the Terms and Conditions outlined under this section of this website apply to all sales made via the online platform GIFTIT or otherwise. By purchasing or conducting any payments on GIFTIT you agree to the stated Terms and Conditions.
