Restrictions

  • United Arab Emirates is our country of domicile and stipulate that the governing law is the local law. All disputes arising in connection therewith shall be heard only by a court of competent jurisdiction in U.A.E.
  • “Gift It FZ LLC" maintains the http://www.giftit.me/ Website and will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC and sanctioned countries.
  • Customer using the website who are Minors /under the age of 18 shall not register as a User of the website and shall not transact on or use the website.
  • Cardholders must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.

General

The Platform is an online gifting marketplace facilitating individual and group gifting, and is not a broker, a bank or other financial institution.

GIFTIT Gift card are only redeemable through our available products, store vouchers & gift cards on GIFTIT online store.

GIFTIT Gift Card can only be refunded if the recipient couldnt find their perfect gift and only to their UAE bank account at AED25 service charge.

GIFTIT Gift Card expires in six months from date of issuance, please ensure to monitor your dashboard for expiry date.

GIFTIT Gift Card expiry date is determined from the day of group gift creation in case of group gifting and the day of individual gift creation in case of individual gifting.

An expired GIFTIT Gift Card can only be reactivated or refunded in the form of a GIFTIT Gift card upon management approval and will be applicable to re-activation fees of AED 25.

GIFTIT Gift Card can not be reactivated after 12 months from date of issuance.

All GIFTIT users are required to become registered members of the website, and agree to this agreement as a condition of using our services including individual gifting, group gifting, and GIFTIT online store.

While our Services facilitate communications and gifting transactions between Gift givers, contributors and gift recipients, GIFTIT is not a party to any agreement or other relationship between any of the users.

GIFTIT is under no obligation to accept any individual as a gift giver, Gift recipient or Contributor and may accept or reject any registration in its sole and complete discretion. In addition, GIFTIT may deactivate any account at any time, including, without limitation, if it determines that any user has violated the Agreement, and for any reason, or for no reason.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change or modify all or any portion of the Agreement at any time. If we do so, we will post a notice of the change or modification on the Platform, but we are not required to give you any other notice, and your continued use of the Platform or Service after such time will constitute your acceptance of such changes or modifications.

Payments

  • All prices quoted on our website are quoted in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED).
  • Valid Visa and MasterCard Credit and Debit Cards are accepted and processed through our secure e-payment gateway provider, Stripe. GIFTIT website does not record or store cardholder account data and information.
  • Cardholder account data and information is maintained by our secure third-party gateway, STRIPE.
  • Payment processing services for users on GIFTIT are provided by STRIPE are subject to the STRIPE terms and conditions. As a condition of GIFTIT enabling payment processing services through STRIPE, you agree to provide GIFTIT accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize GIFTIT to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by STRIPE.
  • Once payment is successful the contributor has given the full authority to the Group gift creator of the total amount contributed to manage and redeem.
  • Once the payment is made by the gift givers, the confirmation notice will be sent to the gift recipient instantly via email, however to confirm receipt of the GIFTIT Gift Card the gift giver may send it directly using any of the available social media channels.

GIFTING OPTIONS

For Group Gifting: The collected gifted amount to be redeemed in either through GIFTIT Gift card to grant the freedom of choice to the recipient or through any available product on GIFTIT online store.

For Individual Gifting: Either GIFTIT Gift Card to grant the freedom of choice to the recipient or through any available product on GIFTIT online store.

You may redeem your GIFTIT Gift Cards at any time and through any of the available options on GIFTIT Online store.

ORDER PROCESSING

  • Group and Individual gifting orders on our website will be processed and published at the time of setup. A correct First Name, UAE mobile number and Email Address are required for a Gifting order to be processed.
  • Contributions made on our website will be processed at the time of payment approvals by our third part, STRIPE.
  • All orders on GIFTIT online store will instantly be processed based on successful payment or Gift Card redemption.

REFUNDS POLICY

  • Group gifting contributors: Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment. Please allow for up to 45days for the refund transfer to be completed.
  • GIFTIT Gift Card: No return or refund once the redemption method and amount are selected and confirmed through the website
  • GIFTIT Online Store: No refund or return for gift cards or store vouchers.For all other items, return will only be accepted in case of receiving the item damaged or not as per the description. The refund will be made through Giftit Gift Card of the original pricing of the item only.
  • At Giftit we gurantee 100% the best gifting experience; if the gift recipient couldn't find their perfect gift. They can opt for cah refund on the homepage and we will issue a full cash refund on the gift card code owner's UAE bank account at a fees of AED25.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • GIFTIT will not be liable for any damages, either direct or indirect, as a result of the third-party product or service you purchase or employ using the funds you have received through your Giftit Gift Card or direct payment. This includes (but is not limited to) any service outages, delays in delivery, breaches of security, accuracy of information provided including (but not limited to) descriptions, dimensions, photos and prices.
  • The group gift creator has the sole responsibility and freedom of the collected amount redemption and to whom the GIFTIT Gift card is sent, with no liability on GIFTIT.
  • For group gifting option, all contributions conducted are based on mutual agreement between the occasion creator and the contributors with no liability on GIFTIT.
  • The gift giver has the full liability to provide the right details of the recipient and any failure or loses occurred due to incorrect details will be the sole responsibility of the gift giver with no liability on GIFTIT.
  • All Gift Givers/Contributors processing payments to specific occasion are giving the full authority to this Occasion Creator/Host to use, manage & redeem the collected money with no liability on GIFTIT.

YOUR USE OF OUR WEBSITE

  • GIFTIT website content and design is copyright. Please do not reproduce or copy any part of the website.
  • You must not use the website in a harmful, abusive, offensive or threatening manner.

Website Users:

  • GIFTIT: The portal where family members and friends can gift each other and send gifts from GIFTIT online store.
  • Telr: The payment gateway platform to process all online payments and contributions.
  • The Recipient: The celebrant and the end recipient of the gift either sent individually or through group gifting.
  • Contributor: The participants in group gifting.
  • Gift Giver: The sender of the gift for both individual and group gifting.

GIFTIT Online Store

  • Your order will be confirmed after placing order and receipt of payment.
  • Delivery information such as Customer Name, Location, Address and Contact Number will be stored for delivery purposes. Other personal identifiable information will not be stored.
  • Delivery will take place within 24hours or more based on the gift selected, recipient selected date, third party provider guidelines (identified under gift description) and the time required for customised gifts (to be confirmed by GIFTIT team).
  • Gifts purchased with GIFTIT Gift Card will automatically be adjusted to any balance either remainder or missing amounts
  • Delivery charges will be AED18 for items from one vendor across UAE and AED32 for items from more than one vendor across UAE. The expected delivery time is 24hrs added to the delivery time provided by the vendor.
  • GIFTIT is an online market place where all vendors list their products and have full ownership on the pricing. There is no liability on GIFTIT for any discrepancies between pricing of different stores.

Unless the customer has another valid written agreement with GIFTIT, the Terms and Conditions outlined under this section of this website apply to all sales made via the online platform GIFTIT or otherwise. By purchasing or conducting any payments on GIFTIT you agree to the stated Terms and Conditions.
