After each use pour away any remaining water from the base unit and wipe dry. Do not use bleach, abrasives, anti bacterial materials or scourers to clean the steriliser. Do not use chemically softened water in the steriliser. Do not ut the steriliser into the dishwasher. Regularly inspect the steriliser and it's main cable for signs of damage. If the mains cable or the steriliser is found to be damaged, dispose of carefully. This steriliser contains no user serviceable parts. You should descale your steriliser every 4 weeks to ensure it continues to work efficiently, failure to do fo may lead to the build up of limescale on the steriliser heater plate which will hinder effiecient sterilisation. PP plastic Wait at least 3 minutes before attempting to remove the lid to allow the steriliser to cool to prevent burns. Wash your hands thoroughly before touching sterilised items. Remove the lid carefully, there may be hot water and steam in the steriliser. Using the sterilised tongs provided, remove the teats and accessories and re-assemble parts. Once bottles and accessories have been removed from the steriliser they must be assembled immediately or re-sterilised. Do not rinse after sterilising. Allow the steriliser to cool for at least 10 minutes inbetween each use to allow the thermostat to cool. After each use and when steriliser has cooled completely, pour away any remaining water and wipe dry. This steriliser is suitable for use in the UK and elsewhere in ther world where the mains supply voltage in 220V to 240V ac 50/60 Hz. Pleach check that the voltage rating marked on the rating plate of the steriliser corresponds with your actual voltage supply. Never immerse the steriliser in water. This steriliser can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a sfae way and if they understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the steriliser. Cleaning and user maintenace shall not be made by children without supervision. Ensure that the steriliser is placed on a dry, stable and level surface when in use. The steriliser will get extremely hot during use and may cause burns if touched. Never touch or open the steriliser when in use or shortly after sterilising cycle has finished as it contains hot water and steam. Allow to cool for at least 3 minutes before opening the lid, only touch the handle when removing the lid. Bware of hot steam that comes out of the vents in the lid during use and when you open the lid following a cycle. STEAM IS HOT AND CAN BURN. Do not obstruct the steam vents during use. Keep the steriliser well away from other objects when in use. Do not place items on the top of the steriliser when in use. Always keep the steriliser and mains cord out of the reach of children. Always disconnect from the mains power socket when not in use. To stop the steriliser mid cycle, turn off at the mains socket and disconnect the power cable. Never use the steriliser without water. Do not use sterilising liquid, sterilising tablets or other chemicals in the steriliser. Never allow items to come into contact with the steriliser heating plate during use, for this reason, do not attempt to sterilise small items that could fall through the holes and directly onto the heating plate. Do not attempt to disassemble the base RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Do not use if the plug, mains cable or steriliser is damaged. Only use the steriliser for sterilising baby bottles and other accessories that are suitable for steam sterilisation. Always check that items are suitable for steam sterilisation before puttinbg them into your steam steriliser. Do not sterilise items that are filled with liquid i.e. water filled or gel filled teethers. Always let the steriliser and its contents cool down for at least 3 minutes before attempting to move it. Do not touch or mnove the steriliser whilst its operating. Always pour any remaining water out of the steriliser base after use and when the steriliser has cooeld down. Ensure the steriliser is descaled on a regular basis to prevent the build up of limescale which could cause irreparable damage.
